Eliminate Back-to-School Headaches with Online Event Registrations

Fall is almost here and for many private schools and colleges, it is a time when educators and administrators look forward to helping a new group of students continue their academic journey. During this busy back-to-school time, many schools and colleges are offering various events and activities for parents and students. This often means mountains of paperwork and accounting for faculty and staff. Online event registration offers you an easier way of managing your events!

Options, Options, Options . . .
Create custom online forms for each of your events and collect the specific information you need for each attendee. Choose from a variety of the most popular question types, from text boxes and date fields, to check boxes and drop-downs. Allow registrants to select from additional items like t-shirts, books, or activities. Upload attachments of documents and brochures for registrants to download directly from the registration form. Finally, add agreement fields to require registrants to agree to any terms or conditions related to the event.

Fee vs. No Fee, That is the Question
Some events may have a cost and others may not. You choose which events require a registration fee and any additional costs or fees needed for that event. You can also create forms with no cost or fees at all. If there is a fee for the event, you will then select which payment methods you wish to accept, whether it is Credit Cards, ACH (e-check), or both! You can even limit your event to accept Debit Cards Only.

More Helpful Hints
There are many other ways to leverage online event registrations to maximize your event’s participation:

  1. Customize your form to the look and feel of your website for a more personalized experience for your registrants.
  2. Include a custom message in the email confirmation with helpful information for registrants about the event.
  3. Keep walk-in registrants in the same report as those who register online by adding the information to the report.
  4. Utilize Social Media integration to allow your registrants to promote your event on their own social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
