The Event Workflow can help streamline your approval process by automatically sending your events to the correct individuals as soon as it is submitted. With four optional levels of approval, each event can be routed to the correct coordinators for approval.
Tentative Approval – Have all of your organization’s events reviewed initially by a single point-of-contact. This is a great opportunity to avoid scheduling too many events at one time and providing a first glance at each event’s information.
Resource Approval – Depending on which resources have been requested for the event, the system will dynamically route the event to the specific coordinators assigned to those resource groups. Each coordinator will only have to approve events requesting resources in their areas.
Support Service Approval – Have events that request additional services routed to the coordinators for those services for approval. The coordinators will have the opportunity to review the form information and respond to the request as needed.
Final Approval – Allow your main calendar coordinator to review all events before they are shown on the calendar itself. Once the event receives final approval, it will automatically be added to the calendar, and if indicated, display on the public calendar on your organization’s website.
